Thinking about going into teaching?
George Mason University students **from all majors** are invited to attend an undergraduate advising event called “Think You Want to Be a Teacher?” on Thursday, September 17 from 4-5 pm at the Johnson Center, Room 325 (Meeting Room B).
Learn what’s required to be a teacher in Virginia, get advice on what classes to take, and much more!
The event includes breakout sessions on how to become a:
- Early Childhood Education Teacher (PreK-Grade 3)
- Elementary School Teacher (PreK-Grade 6)
- English as a Second Language Teacher (PreK-Grade 12)
- Foreign Language Teacher (PreK-Grade 12)
- Health and Physical Education Teacher (PreK-Grade 12)
- International School Teacher (PreK-Grade 12)
- Middle or High School Teacher (Grades 6-12)
- Special Education Teacher (PreK-Grade 12)
