Schedule a Meeting with an Exploratory Academic Advisor

The simplest way to schedule an appointment with an advisor is using their personal meeting link on Patriot Connect. Select your academic advisor below by the first letter of your last name. The button will take you directly to their page in Patriot Connect.

A Couple Notes About Scheduling

Selecting Your Appointment Date

  • The system will automatically default to today’s date.
  • Be sure to:
    • Select your preferred date manually, or
    • Click “Check Next Available Dates” to view additional options.

Planning Ahead

  • Exploratory advising meetings can be scheduled up to 60 days in advance.
  • Availability varies by department, so we recommend scheduling early.

Step-by-Step How to Schedule a Meeting

If your advisor is unavailable or you simply want to search for an appointment with any Exploratory Academic Advisor, you can use the directions below. You can watch the youtube video for a general step-by-step scheduling tutorial.

  1. Log into Patriot Connect.
  2. Click the “Schedule Appointment” button on the Home tab or click the “Schedule Appointment” tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Select “Undergraduate Academic Advising” and then click Next.
  4. In the “Type to filter…” box, search for Exploratory (or Non-Degree if you are a Non-Degree student), select the appropriate success team and then click Next.
  5. Select the appropriate topic for your meeting.
  6. Select how you want to meet: in-person or virtual.
  7. On the next step, you may see multiple people to choose from. Select a time and finish setting up your appointment. Note that it only shows one date at a time and defaults to the current date. Go to the date you want or click on “Check next available dates” for first available. If no appointment times show up for any date, there may not be anything available or you will need to return to a previous step and select a different option (e.g. in-person or virtual). The appointment scheduler only allows you to schedule 30 days in advance.
  8. You will receive a confirmation email after completing the steps.
