Advisor Refresh Sesh

The Advisor Refresh Sesh series (ARS) aims to provide new and updated information to the George Mason academic advising community from other advisors and our constituents. We currently hold two virtual sessions each semester. If you would like to suggest a future ARS topic or are interested in leading a session, please submit the Advisor Refresh Sesh Request Form.

Advisor Refresh Sesh: Academic Standards Office. The Academic Standards Office has recently gone through some changes, so we invite you to join us for a session with the director, Dr. LaShonda Anthony, to learn about what these changes mean, what advisors need to know, and more. Advisor Refresh Sesh: Stellic. Join us for an informational session all about Stellic! Our colleagues from the Office of the University Registrar will join us along with the Partner Success Manager from Stellic, who will provide us with a demo. Advisor Refresh Sesh: Math Placement Test. Questions about the Math Placement Test? What does it entail? Who should take it? Come to our information session where Dr. Sarah Khankan, Director of the Math Testing Center, will discuss what advisors need to know. Includes session information, registration link, and QR code.

Advisor Refresh Sesh: Mason Korea. Join us for an informational session about study abroad and Mason Korea! We will have members of the Global Education Office (GEO) join Seunga Seo, Academic Advising Manager for Mason Korea, to discuss what advisors need to know about recruitment and application as well as resources to use in your advising.
