We currently hold two virtual sessions each semester. Overview of Transfer Credit Policies and Procedures

Did you know that the Office of Admissions works all pre-matriculation transfer credit but that the Office of the University Registrar works all study elsewhere, reverse transfer and study abroad credit? This discussion will touch on what makes a transfer course eligible for GMU course credit, where to view transfer credit, what the core waiver codes mean, how to use the appeal form (both the old and the new), and who to contact for what. The Office of Student Creative Activities and Research (OSCAR) is George Mason’s hub for information and funding for undergraduate research and creative projects. During this session you will learn about the opportunities OSCAR provides, the benefits to undergraduate students, and how to help students access research and creative resources. There will be time to brainstorm effective ways to help students understand the value of undergraduate research and creative activities and how best to access OSCAR services.
