What is Patriot Connect?

Patriot Connect is the university’s system of engagement to connect the student journey. It utilizes several platforms with tools for appointment scheduling, drop-in appointments, communications, interaction summaries, referrals, cases, recruitment, and admissions.

Access to Patriot Connect

New employees or employees in new roles that need to set up a user account in Patriot Connect must complete FERPA 101, Highly Sensitive Data, and Banner Navigate trainings on MasonLeaps and gain access to Banner first.

Academic Advisors and Supervisors, please use the following handouts for instructions on requesting access and setting up a new user account in Patriot Connect. The first handout includes a link to the Patriot Connect Access Request Form. The second handout has more specific guidelines for filling out the form for Academic Advisors.

Training for Patriot Connect

Join the Patriot Connect community on MasonLeaps where you will find training materials, resources, and guides. We will be putting together a curated training curriculum and guidance specifically for Academic Advisors. In the meantime, please start with the “Intro to Patriot Connect for New Student Success Technology Users ILT”; you can find this by clicking on Topics in the Patriot Connect community on MasonLeaps. There is a PowerPoint presentation, and you can also watch the video recording of one of the live instructional sessions.

Issues or Change Requests for Patriot Connect

If you are having any issues with Patriot Connect, see the Technical Support section in the Patriot Connect FAQs. You can also use the same instructions if you want to request an enhancement.
